Bio

Maria Chang was born in Paris, France, and then raised for a short time with her grandmother in Taiwan. She soon relocated to be with her parents in the Miami, Florida region of the United States.

There Maria honed her art skills on oil paintings and sketches inspired by mythology and fantasy. She has a particular fondness for fairies, though other beasts such as unicorns and mermaids are among her works. She also explores the darker nature of humanity in some of her provocative gothic pieces.

Maria branched out into sketching and painting animals, another of her life's passions. Her art is featured in the book Zander at the Zoo from Moons of Pluto Publishing.

Maria is now bringing her art and vision to the world through this website. More and more pieces will be added as quickly as possible. In the mean time Maria hopes you enjoy her artwork!
